Fabulous Lamb
For many years I listened to others rave about this restaurants, however events always conspired to stop me trying it for myself. I have now rectified this and now understand what all the fuss was about! I had the best rack of lamb that I have ever eaten, the service was friendly but unobtrusive, and the chocolate dessert was a great way to to finish off the evening. Without question this will now become a regular choice for my family and my only regret is that it took me so long to find it!

Restaurante O Cantinho

Good Courtyard Style setting.
I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years, which in itself should tell you that it is not bad! The seafood style dip that they serve with the cover is my husband's favourite, as are the mushrooms Portuguese style. The portion size is always good and they are exceptionally family friendly. I have over the years had one or two meals which disappointed, although that may be down to my menu choices rather than the restaurant, and the service has in the past few years been a bit hit and miss. However we always go back and I cannot imagine Carvoeiro without it.

Restaurante Lanterna Velha

Best Steak Portuguese Style!
The title says it all! I have found that their Steak Portuguese has the best flavour and I would also recommend the Clams Portuguese. Don't worry they are different sauces! The only thing that I would say is that their desserts do not match the quality of the starters and mains, in my humble opinion.
